Revised notification for recruitment of 7994 posts of UPSSSC Lekhpal released; For OBC, 1,441 posts increased to 2158, fee 25 rupees

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Board (UPSSSC) has released the recruitment for more than 7000 posts of Lekhpal. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the recruitment board upsssc.gov.in. The last date of fee submission for this recruitment is also fixed as 28th January 2026.

In the earlier notification issued by the UPSSSC, 1,441 posts were reserved for Other Backward Classes which has now been increased to 2158.

Educational Qualification:

Must have a valid scorecard of Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (UP PET).
12th pass from recognized board/ institute
Age Limit:

Minimum : 18 years
Maximum age should not be more than 40 years.
Candidates coming from reserved category will be given age relaxation as per rules.
Selection Process:

Merit will be prepared on the basis of UPPET 2025 score

Salary:

21,700 – 69,100 rupees per month according to level-3
As per the government rules, the benefit of other allowances will also be available.
