On January 29, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Jitin Prasad launched the new AADHAAR app in New Delhi.
The new app will be more secure with biometric facility instead of old mAdhaar app.
With the help of the app, users will be able to update their mobile number or address on their smart phones.
In the new app, users will be able to access the Aadhaar profile of up to 5 i.e. their entire family.
No physical document or photocopy required for AADHAAR update or correction from the new app.
