•Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian congratulates Dr Sukhwinder Sukhi
Chandigarh, February 5:
Two time MLA from Banga and former president of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi, on Wednesday, assumed the charge as Chairperson of the Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation (Conware) in the presence of S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Punjab, at the Conware office in sector 17 here.
Dr. Sukhi reached the Conware office along with his family members including his sons, Dr. Sidhant Lochav & Dr. Nishant Lochav, and supporters.
After assuming the office, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for posing faith in him. Dr. Sukhi vowed to live up to the responsibility assigned to him, while assuring to perform his duty with outmost honesty, diligence and sincerity. He also emphasised on prioritising transparency and efficiency in the corporation’s functioning.
Extending heartiest congratulations to Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi, the Agriculture Minister S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian expressed confidence that under Dr. Sukhi’s leadership the corporation would scale new heights. He assured the Chairperson, on behalf of the state government, of full support for all endeavours aimed at the development works of the corporation.
Prominent among others who came to congratulate Dr. Sukhi, included Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Mr. Jai Kishan Rori, MLAs Mr. Nachhatar Pal, Mr. Kulwant Singh Pandori and Mr. Manjit Singh Bilaspur, Chairman Improvement Trust SBS Nagar Satnam Singh Jalalpur and Jasvir Singh Garhi.
Vice Chairman Conware Mr. Inderpreet Singh Sandhu, Managing Director Conware Kanwalpreet Brar and Dr. Sukhi’s family members Sarwan Singh, Dr. Jagmohan Puri, Nasib Chand, Sohan Lal Dhanda, Balbir Singh, Dr Kulwinder Maan, Dr Paramjit Maan and Sukhvir Rana were also present on the occasion.
