Hp pollution control board Regional office Paonta sahib collected 375 kg of plastic and other wastes. And covered gondpur industrial area, rampur ghat.
Cleanliness Drive started by Regional Office Paonta Sahib in association with Sh. Vivek Mahajan, SDM Paonta Sahib, Industries Department, Gram Panchayats and Self Help Group in Paonta Sahib on 09.08.2021. An oath of cleanliness was given by SDM Paonta Sahib to all stakeholders associated with the Cleanliness Drive to flag off the campaign.
Plantation of Pollution Abating Plants was initiated with the association of Industrial Units located in Rampur Ghat area. Each unit planted 10 plants in their land with total of 120 pollution abating plants planted for the Non-Attainnment City Paonta Sahib. Further, 175 Pollution Abating Plants were planted by a Van Bachao Jeevan Bachao Mahila Samiti in the vicinity of Industrial Area Gondpur Paonta Sahib in the presence of SDM Paonta Sahib, HPSPCB and Industries Department, Paonta Sahib.
